Working to better understand the underlying causes of chronic urological pelvic pain.

 
 

The University of Washington is participating in a national multi-site study called the Multidisciplinary Approach to the Study of Chronic Pelvic Pain (MAPP).

MAPP explores the causes and effects of Interstitial Cystitis and Chronic Prostatitis, two prominent chronic pelvic pain conditions that are poorly understand and have few effective treatments.
